Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Tunisia: Q3 2025 Performance

The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Tunisia. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five apps in this category showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Yassir showed a significant increase in its weekly downloads, starting at approximately 13K at the beginning of the quarter and rising to about 25.9K by the end of September. The app also experienced growth in weekly active users, climbing from 56.3K to 93.4K.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a steady presence in the market. Weekly downloads began at 8.4K, peaking at 12.5K in early September, before settling at 9.6K. Active users were relatively stable, fluctuating around the 170K mark with a peak of 229.6K mid-quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride had moderate downloads, beginning at just under 1K and peaking at 1.7K in September, before dropping to 434. Active users experienced a decline from 56.4K to about 21.5K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 397 downloads and slightly increasing to 511 by mid-September. Active users saw a gradual increase from 8.6K to 9.5K.

Tawsilet, a newer entrant, started strong with 1.5K downloads in mid-July but saw a significant drop to just over 100 by the end of September. Unfortunately, data on active users for Tawsilet was not available.
